Black Panther Party Boston branch is established.

Founded by Boston-born students at Northeastern University, it is located initially at 375 Blue Hill Avenue. A branch of the national organization that was established in Oakland, California in 1966, it subsequently operates free breakfast programs for children on Mission Hill and Columbia Point, a free clothing program at 81 Parker Street, and a free clinic on Tremont Street that opens in 1970.* The organization moves to 23 Winthrop Street on February 21, 1970, and closes in July 1972 [lates 1970s-Miletsky].
